The Firm's experience in the criminal defense area encompasses all phases of the litigation process from preliminary investigations through trial and appellate proceedings. Further legal experience includes grand jury investigations, witness preparation, preparation of numerous types of subpoenas and motions, as well as post-conviction matters, such as petition for certiorari review, motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict, motions for reduction of sentences, and sentencing memoranda.

Our attorneys have extensive trial experience ranging from traffic infractions to death penalty cases. Many have come to the Firm from the Public Defender's Office. One senior attorney in this practice group served as Senior Felony Trial Attorney with the Public Defender's Office in Broward County, conducted more than 50 jury trials, and brought more than 200 trials to verdict.
