VERA ARAPI AND W. ROBERT DONOVAN JR. JOIN AS ASSOCIATES IN TAMPA
September 10, 2003TAMPA The law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. is pleased to announce that Vera Arapi and W. Robert Donovan Jr. have joined the Firm as associates resident in the Tampa office, 401 E. Jackson Street, suite 2700.
Ms. Arapi, formerly an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney's Office, Sixth Judicial Circuit, joins the Firm's Governmental Practice Group. She advises public sector clients on such issues as procurement, contracting, ethics, intergovernmental agreements and funding. Fluent in English, Italian and Albanian, Ms. Arapi received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law (J.D., 2001). She is currently studying for a Master of Laws in International Law at Stetson University College of Law.
Formerly an associate at Shawe & Rosenthal, LLP in Maryland, Mr. Donovan joins the Firm's Employment and Labor Practice Group concentrating his practice on employment litigation and counseling. A frequent lecturer on employment laws, he has co-authored a number of articles for Matthew Bender's Labor and Employment Law Bulletin. He is also a contributing editor of The Employment Law Deskbook, published by Matthew Bender. Mr. Donovan received his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 1998).
