PARTNER TODD STONE NAMED PRESIDENT OF B'NAI B'RITH JUSTICE UNIT

FT. LAUDERDALE - Ruden McClosky partner Todd Stone was named president of B'nai B'rith Justice unit #5207. Mr. Stone was also recognized by Broward County Mayor Ben Graber and Commissioner Ilene Liberman with the creation of 'Todd Stone Day' on February 26, 2006.

During his term as President of B'nai B'rith Justice Unit #5207, Mr. Stone will plan the organization's first trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with B'nai B'rith International. He is also planning on fostering stronger relationships with other local bar associations. Mr. Stone said, 'I am very pleased to be at the helm of this illustrious organization. I have been proud to be a member for several years and look forward to increasing our members' involvement in the community.'

As a member of Ruden McClosky's Land Use Practice Group, Mr. Stone concentrates his practice on land use, zoning and government relations matters. He also has extensive experience in the defense of white collar criminal matters, complex civil litigation and representing corporations, as well as individuals, in actions brought by government agencies. As a former Assistant Attorney General with the Economic Crimes Division, Office of the Attorney General of Florida, Mr. Stone has investigated and prosecuted deceptive trade practices, and other civil causes of action.

Mr. Stone's civic activities include serving on the City of Hollywood's Charter Review Committee, the City of Hollywood's Community Development Advisory Board, the Broward County Consumer Protection Board and the City of Weston's Charter Review Board.

B'nai B'rith is one of the world's oldest service organizations, having been founded in 1843, and is active in 56 countries on six continents. Through many avenues, B'nai B'rith members make a difference for the community by making significant and positive contributions.

The B'nai B'rith Broward County Justice Unit is a local chapter of B'nai B'rith International. Its members comprise of Jewish attorneys and judges, located primarily in Broward County, Florida. The Justice Unit has provided an important avenue for civic and social involvement of their members, and has carried on the ideals of B'nai B'rith.
