LAUDERDALE, - The law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. is pleased to announce that David Butterbaugh and Joseph Gosz have joined the Firm as Associates in the Firm's Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices. Mr. Butterbaugh joins the Firm's Trust and Estates Group, focusing his practice in Estate Planning and Probate.
Prior to joining Ruden McClosky, he was an associate at Sachs, Sax & Klein. P.A. of Boca Raton, FL. Mr. Butterbaugh earned his law degree (J.D. 2001) from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics and Business Management (B.S. 1985) from Cornell University. He is a member of the Florida Bar (Tax, Elder Law, and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections), and a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association (Probate and Real Property Committees).
Joseph Gosz joins the Litigation Practice Group in Ruden McClosky's Miami office at 700 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL. Mr. Gosz is a graduate of the University of Miami (B.A. Spanish and English, cum laude, 1999) and received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2002).
A member of the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Gosz focuses on all phases of general civil and commercial litigation. He also has experience in criminal defense, federal grand jury proceedings, construction litigation and defense of religious institutions.
Mr. Gosz was formerly with Gilbride, Heller & Brown, P.A. in Miami. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
