RUDEN McCLOSKY EXPANDS WPB OFFICE and IP PRACTICE GROUP

WEST PALM BEACH - Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. is pleased to announce that Stanley A. Kim, Esq., Ph.D. (Microbiology and Immunology) has joined the Firm as a Partner and that Amy Ostrom, Ph.D. (Genetics) has joined the Firm as a Patent Agent. Both are resident in the Firm's West Palm Beach office, 222 Lakeview Avenue, suite 800.

Dr. Kim concentrates his practice in intellectual property, patents, trademarks and copyright issues. He advises clients on all aspects of the development, acquisition, sale and use of intellectual property, with an emphasis on biotechnology, chemical and medical device products and services. He also represents a wide variety of companies and academic institutions in connection with licensing matters, outsourcing arrangements, strategic alliance agreements and commercial joint ventures.

Dr. Ostrom represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has successfully assisted both academic and corporate clients in obtaining patents for inventions in a variety of technology areas including biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and medical devices. She has extensive experience in managing/prosecuting molecular biology, stem cell and gene therapy portfolios.
