FIRM ADDS THREE NEW ASSOCIATES

The law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. is pleased to announce that Michael Pike, Robert Gregg and Gregg Rivkind have joined the Firm as associates. Mr. Pike is resident in the firm's West Palm Beach office, 222 Lakeview Avenue, and Mr. Gregg and Mr. Rivkind are resident in the Firm's Ft. Lauderdale office, 200 E. Broward Blvd.

Mr. Pike joins the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, focusing his practice in commercial litigation including securities litigation and health law litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at Broad & Cassell in West Palm Beach. He also clerked for the State Attorney's Office and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Law (J.D., with honors, 2002), he is a member of The Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2002), Mr. Gregg also joins the Firm's Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice in general civil litigation and employment law litigation. He also has experience in state and local government administration. Formerly an associate at Allen, Norton & Blue in Coral Gables, Florida, he is a member of The Florida Bar, the Miami-Dade County and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Rivkind joins the Firm's Tax Practice Group concentrating his practice in federal and state income tax, international tax, estate and gift tax planning, state corporate and partnership law, and tax litigation (representing clients of the firm in tax cases from the initial audit through trial and appeal). Prior to joining Ruden McClosky, Mr. Rivkind practiced with Arthur Andersen LLP in Miami and BDO Seidman LLP in New York City, nationally prominent accounting firms, providing state and local tax consultation services including tax minimization planning, audit defense and appeals, refund analysis, business restructuring, and merger and acquisition planning. Mr. Rivkind received his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2001) and also holds a Masters in Taxation from New York University School of Law (LL.M, 2003). A member of The Florida, New York and Washington, D. C. Bars, Mr. Rivkind is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.
