RUDEN MCCLOSKY SENIOR LAND PLANNER TO SPEAK AT NATIONAL SHOPPING CENTER CONFERENCE

TAMPA  Sue Murphy, senior land planner with the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., will address commercial real estate professionals at the December 5, 2003 ICSC Centerbuild Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), she currently serves as the organization's Chair for the Florida Government Relations Committee and the National Chair of the Growth Management Task Force. Ms. Murphy's topic is 'Project Entitlements, Permitting and Impact Fees: How to Save Time and Money in the Process.'

A Certified Land Planner, Ms. Murphy's professional experience encompasses a wide range of land development activities. She prepares and negotiates Developments of Regional Impact, rezoning petitions, land use plan amendments, comprehensive plans, vested rights requests, concurrency reviews, variances, environmental impact statements, alcoholic beverage requests and negotiates exaction and impact fees.

Ms. Murphy is also a member of the American Planning Association, the American Institute for Certified Planners, the Congress for the New Urbanism and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).
