MIAMI ATTORNEY ELECTED CHAIR OF FLORIDA STATE BOXING COMMISSION
November 25, 2003MIAMI Eduardo Lacasa, an attorney in the Miami office of the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., has been elected Chairman of the Florida State Boxing Commission. Appointed by Governor Jeb Bush, Mr. Lacasa has been a member of the Commission since 1999. The Florida State Boxing Commission regulates professional boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts.
Mr. Lacasa concentrates his practice in commercial and real estate litigation, administrative law and zoning. A 1991 graduate of Nova Southeastern University School of Law, Mr. Lacasa is a member of The Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association and formerly a member of the Miami-Dade County Zoning Appeals Board, the Building Code and Product Review Committee and the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority.
