Law Firm Ruden McClosky Celebrates 50th Anniversary

In recognition of its 50th anniversary, Ruden McClosky, one of Florida’s largest and longest standing full-service law firms, held a special cocktail reception at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale.  More than 500 clients, as well as community and business leaders, and friends of the firm were in attendance at the event, including some who have been with the Firm since inception.

Founded in 1959 in Fort Lauderdale during a period of tremendous growth for the region, Ruden McClosky (then Ruden & Barnett) emerged as a leader in real estate and land use law. Over the years, the Firm expanded into new areas of practice and geographic locations. Now in its 50th year, Ruden McClosky has emerged as one of Florida’s leading full-service law firms representing regional, national, and international clients with business interests throughout the state.

At the reception, Schuster was presented with a Proclamation by Broward County Commissioner Sue Gunzberger, naming November 17, 2009 Ruden McClosky Day, in recognition of the Firm’s contributions to the Broward County community. According to the Proclamation, “Ruden McClosky takes pride in a tradition of legal excellence and integrity, and has become of one the largest and most respected law firms in Florida.”
