Florida’s Leading Law Firm Ruden McClosky Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Ruden McClosky, one of Florida’s longest standing full-service law firms, is celebrating 50 years of commitment to its clients and the community. The firm consistently ranks among the top tier of Florida law firms.

In recognition of this 50-year milestone, the Florida-based firm honored its Orlando clients and colleagues with a cocktail reception at the firm’s Orlando office located at the CNL Center II at City Commons, 420 S. Orange Ave., Suite 920. The event was hosted by the partners of Ruden McClosky’s Orlando office W. Scott Callahan and David S. Wood.

In 2004, Ruden McClosky expanded into the Orlando area where attorneys practice in the areas of banking and finance, bankruptcy, civil litigation, corporate, governmental, health, land use, real estate, financial recovery-workouts, and utilities and energy.

Founded in 1959 in Ft. Lauderdale during a period of tremendous growth for the region, Ruden McClosky (then Ruden & Barnett) emerged as a leader in real estate and land use law. During the 1960s and 1970s, the Firm experienced steady growth – expanding into new areas of practice and geographic locations. Now in its 50^th year, Ruden McClosky has emerged as one of Florida’s leading full-service law firms with 11 offices across the state, serving a broad base of clients throughout the state in sectors including banking and finance, government, nonprofit, utilities, healthcare, hospitality, and real estate among others, as well as private individuals.
