RUDEN MCCLOSKY PARTNER THOMAS MESSANA MODERATES PANEL ON BANKRUPTCY CRIMES AT ABA MEETING IN CA

FT. LAUDERDALE  Thomas M. Messana, Esq., partner in the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., recently moderated a panel at the American Bar Association's Business Law meeting in San Diego, CA on 'Bankruptcy Crimes.' This meeting was held in conjunction with the 77th Annual National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.

A past president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Messana concentrates his practice in bankruptcy, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, insolvency and financial restructuring, bankruptcy-related litigation, creditors' rights, corporate reorganization and out-of-court workouts. He is a 1980 graduate of John Hopkins University and received his law degree from the University of Maryland, with honors, in 1990. Mr. Messana serves as the Treasurer and Founder of the Bankruptcy Bar Foundation of the Southern District of Florida and the current Chairman of the Bankruptcy/UCC Committee ofthe Business Law Section of the Florida Bar.
