Mr. Gordich's experience includes the representation of secured, priority and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, trustees and debtors in pre-bankruptcy loan workouts and post-bankruptcy individual and corporate reorganization and liquidation cases. He has also represented debtors, creditors and trustees in many large personal bankruptcies.

During his career, he has successfully prosecuted on behalf of debtors and defended on behalf of secured creditors complex 'Cramn Down' Chapter 11 confirmations. He has served as a court-appointed Examiner and/or Trustee in various large Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases pending in Florida. In several of those cases he was also charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the respective business entities. He is currently serving as the Court appointed trustee in the liquidation of a sub-acute health care provider. He has represented HMOs and PPOs in the protection of their rights regarding failed health care providers. He has also represented various health care providers and skilled nursing facilities in reorganizing their debt structure.

Mr. Gordich has also represented creditors and debtors in various other commercial litigation matters including forfeiture proceedings, termination of automobile franchises and products liability defense. Recently, he represented both the pre- and post-confirmation trustee in the Banco Latino case, which was the first chapter 11 reorganization of an Edge Act Corporation Bank and which resulted in a dividend of 100 percent being paid to depositors.

With his extensive knowledge of bankruptcy procedures, Mr. Gordich brings a special focus to foreclosure proceedings. His vast experience allows him to advise clients as to the risks involved in troubled loan workouts, both for the lender and the borrower. He has also handled issues of participation, lender and creditor agreements, and title matters. In addition, Mr. Gordich has handled matters involving the foreclosure of mortgages and security interests in aircraft, cranes, heavy machinery and real estate including office buildings, shopping centers, country clubs, skilled nursing facilities and other health care providers.

Mr. Gordich is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Gordich has been a member of the Bankruptcy Bar since its inception, serving over the years as President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Secretary and also serving as Chairperson of the U.S. Trustee Committee of that same organization. He also has lectured at CLE programs presented by Nova Law School, University of Miami Law School and the National Business Institute concerning bankruptcy, commercial law and real estate litigation.
