Mr. Fields' areas of practice include civil litigation, administrative/governmental relations and criminal law.
Mr. Fields is an AV (R) rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and has more than 20 years of extensive trial experience with over 200 jury trials to verdict. His criminal cases range from traffic infractions to death penalty cases. He is also experienced in complex white collar crime law. In the area of civil litigation, he has prosecuted fraud, civil theft, breach of contract and received damage judgments in excess of $3,000,000 on behalf of clients.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Fields was a Washington lobbyist and Capitol Hill staffer. He also was the founder of a products liability clearing-house for firearms litigation. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Fields was an attorney at the Public Defender's Office in Broward County, Florida and conducted more than 50 jury trials. While there, Mr. Fields rose to the rank of Senior Felony Trial Attorney.
Mr. Fields is an active volunteer for several community organizations including Broward Lawyers Care, the Guardian Ad Litem program and Center One, where he has represented HIV/AIDS patients in legal matters. In addition, he has done pro bono work for the Soref and Posnack Jewish Community Centers.
