Mr. Chan focuses his practice on the litigation and mediation of dissolution of marriage, marital, and family law matters. He has substantial experience in mediation and litigation of matters involving divorce; paternity; parental responsibility, timesharing, and visitation issues; alimony and child support; as well as premarital and prenuptial agreements.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Chan was an associate in the family law practice at Millison & Millison, P.A. in Tampa. He has been elected to serve on the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Family Law Section, Executive Counsel and is the current chair of the Public Access Committee.
Mr. Chan earned his law degree from the Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 2001) and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington (B.A. 1996). While at Stetson, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable William H Overton, Jr., and the Honorable Patrick K. Caddell. Before law school Mr. Chan was employed as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade Community College and was an instructor at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Mr. Chan is admitted to The Florida Bar and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.
