As a Partner in Ruden McClosky's Trusts & Estates Practice Group, Kristen Lynch focuses her practice on estate planning, probate and retirement planning, and IRA matters. An Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), she has over twenty years of experience in trusts and tstates law, working almost exclusively with high net worth IRA clients for the last seventeen years.
Ms. Lynch worked for SunTrust Bank in the capacity of Vice President and Divisional IRA Manager for the Private Client Services Group, and for Merrill Lynch Trust Company as Vice President and Senior Trust Officer in charge of New Business Acceptance. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor as well as a Certified IRA Services Professional.
Ms. Lynch has been appointed Chair of the Sponsorship Committee of The Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section (RPPTL) for the term 2010-2011. In addition, she has been appointed as co-editor of the RPPTL column for The Florida Bar Journal. She has been published numerous times in The Florida Bar Journal, and the Journal of Retirement Planning and has also been quoted in Kiplinger's and Tax Notes. She is also a frequent lecturer for professional groups.
Ms. Lynch is a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Board for the American Lung Association of Florida and has been recently selected by the Association as the recipient of the "Outstanding Board Member of the Year Award." She is Chair and Member of the Board of Directors of the Planned Giving and Endowment Committee for the Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park, Boca Raton, and also is a Member of the Board of Directors of both the Erwin and Barbara Mautner, and the Nicholas Andronicus Charitable Foundations. In addition, Ms. Lynch serves on the Planned Giving Council and Endowment Board for Nova Southeastern University; is a member of the Advisory Board of the University of Miami, Broward County; and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alvin Sherman Library Circle of Friends.
