Ms. Jarjura is an attorney in the Governmental Relations, Land Use and Procurement practices of the firm. Her practice encompasses governmental relations including procurement and negotiation of government contracts, land use and zoning, and lobbying. 

Ms. Jarjura has experience working with developers of large-scale residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects, including shopping centers, office buildings, planned unit developments, hotels and marinas. From property assemblage to simple rezonings to the most complex growth management issues affecting real estate development, Ms. Jarjura helps clients obtain the necessary approvals in order to accomplish the desired development. She regularly represents clients in Broward County, Palm Beach County, the City of Fort Lauderdale, the City of Delray Beach, the City of Sunrise and the City of Cooper City.

Ms. Jarjura advises clients throughout the government procurement process. She assists clients in drafting their responses to Requests for Letters of Interest, Requests for Proposal, Invitations to Bid, and Requests for Qualifications. Ms. Jarjura also lobbies the appropriate entities and in some cases defends or files bid protests.

In the public policy arena, Ms. Jarjura counsels clients in regard to political contributions, community outreach, and interactions with public officials and government staff. She helps clients deliver their message to government decision-makers and all stake-holders to efficiently achieve their objectives--in development or in procurement of contracts.

Ms. Jarjura joined Ruden McClosky from Blosser & Sayfie where she gained experience in comprehensive planning, zoning, community redevelopment, historic preservation and government procurement. During her tenure, she  represented individuals and entities that had interests before local governments, state agencies, the Florida legislature, and the federal legislature. Previously, Ms. Jarjura was with Fowler White Boggs Banker where her practice involved all aspects of federal and state appellate litigation, with a focus on land use and zoning appeals.

Ms. Jarjura assisted with the successful representation of a $50 million state-of-the-art dry stack marina, a $500 million Planned Unit Development, and the drafting and lobbying for legislation which amended the Florida Statutes to change the legal boundaries of Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Ms. Jarjura also assisted in local historic designation of property and lobbied for federal legislation for National Park designation.

Ms. Jarjura is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  She was named a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2010, and most recently Ms. Jarjura was selected by Atlantic Ave magazine as one of its "Top 40 Professionals Under 40." 

Ms. Jarjura is an adjunct professor of business law at Lynn University - College of Business and Management.   

Community & Political Involvement

Ms. Jarjura is an advisory board member of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Beach Redevelopment Board as well as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club, Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce - Government Relations Committee, the Broward County Democratic Executive Committee, the Broward County Bar Association and an organizing committee member of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Ghost Light Society. In fall 2008, Ms. Jarjura was a member of the Florida Democratic Lawyers Council and served as a Broward County Attorney on the Obama-Biden Legal Team.
