Mr. Callahan practices in the areas of commercial real estate development, financing, environmental mitigation, and asset based lending. Mr. Callahan has developed several sub-specialties within his real estate practice including commercial retail leasing. He has represented numerous landlords in connection with the leasing of office buildings, shopping centers and warehouses. He also represents clients in negotiating leases on behalf of tenants. He has structured long-term ground leases to enable clients to develop on land based on the use of long-term ground leases on both a subordinated and unsubordinated basis.
Mr. Callahan has extensive experience in land acquisition and financing, development and construction matters, commercial loan workouts and foreclosure litigation. His clients include national commercial loan servicing companies, financial institutions, developers, contractors, realtors, environmental mitigation, and private investors. As counsel, he has been involved in many significant real estate development and financing transactions.
Mr. Callahan is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is the Firm’s Administrative Partner in the Orlando office and has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1987.
