A member of the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Liotta litigates cases throughout the State of Florida with a concentration in the practice areas of complex commercial and banking litigation.
As part of her commercial litigation practice, she prosecutes and defends cases for clients involved in pre-suit negotiations, mediations, breach of contract actions, tort claims, construction-based claims, employment claims, landlord/tenant lease disputes, and other matters.
In her banking litigation practice, Ms. Liotta has extensive experience representing lenders in lender liability cases, commercial and residential foreclosures, receivership actions, declaratory judgement actions, collections, and other matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Liotta practiced insurance defense litigation for several years, having represented commercial insurance carriers in property coverage disputes and against claims of unfair claim practices.
Ms. Liotta has been named a "Rising Star 2009" by Florida Super Lawyers, and in 2007, she was the sole Construction Litigation Attorney recognized in the Orlando Business Journal's article, Best of the Bar: Top 10% of Nominees Listed by Practice Area.
Ms. Liotta is a member of numerous legal organizations, including the Orange County Bar Association where she is a member of three committees. She actively supports charitable causes and most recently served as the Director of Community Relations on the Board of Directors of Dress for Success of Greater Orlando, a charitable organization aimed at assisting underprivileged women achieve employment and self-sufficiency.
