Ms. Nestor focuses her practice on general business litigation, including complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, land use litigation, and labor and employment litigation. She also represents business owners in the defense of ADA public accommodations lawsuits brought in federal court.

Ms. Nestor has successfully represented employers at trial in their enforcement of non-compete agreements. She also routinely defends employers in FLSA overtime wage cases and provides property owners with assistance related to fair housing disputes. Ms. Nestor also has represented and counseled numerous landlords in commercial real estate matters in relation to lease disputes and eviction matters. She has extensive federal and state court experience and has offered litigation services to clients in a variety of disputes, including class action lawsuits.

Prior to joining Ruden McClosky, Ms. Nestor was an associate with Pertnoy, Solowsky & Allen, P.A., a boutique complex commercial litigation law firm in Miami, Florida, where she focused her practice on general business litigation, real estate litigation and appeals.

While attending law school, Ms. Nestor served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Legal Aid Society of the Dade County Bar Association.

Ms. Nestor has been named a "Rising Star 2009" by Florida Super Lawyers.
