Mr. Cole is a member of the Firm's Corporate, Real Estate and Land Use Practice Groups. He concentrates his practice in corporate, real estate, land use and governmental law. Mr. Cole also works with the Firm's Capital Partners Group which speciailizes in identifying investment opportunities or financing for the Firm's clients, where he is currently working on several projects in The Bahamas.

Mr. Cole is the former Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for AutoNation, Inc., a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale. He was also chief ethics officer responsible for corporate governance, governament relations and compliance issues for AutoNation and its 500+ subsidiaries. Prior to that, he was Associate General Counsel for The Clorox Company in Oakland, CA. Mr. Cole was also Vice President Corporate Affairs responsible for the government and community relations functions for Clorox.

A member of the Florida, Illinois and California Bars, Mr. Cole is past president of the National Bar Association, the oldest and largest association of African American lawyers, the California Association of Black Lawyers and Charles Houston Bar Association. He was a member of and chaired California's Judicial Nominee Evaluations Commission. He is also a former member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association.
