For almost sixteen years, Victor Berwin has counseled clients and litigated in the areas of commercial litigation, banking litigation, creditor's rights law, and real estate litigation. Formerly a partner with a well-established law firm in Los Angeles California, Mr. Berwin joined Ruden McClosky's West Palm Beach office in February, 2005.
Mr. Berwin has been integral to favorably resolving hundreds of disputes involving tens of millions of dollars while representing financial institutions such as national banking associations, federal savings banks, and credit unions; bankruptcy trustees; large corporations in various industries; small and mid-sized companies of various types; landowners; contractors; and individuals, among others. Mr. Berwin has considerable experience in matters involving breaches of contract, fraudulent transfers, business torts, the domestication and enforcement of judgments, and bank deposits and collections.
While attending Duke University, Mr. Berwin spent a summer abroad taking undergraduate law courses at the University of Oxford in England. While attending USC law school, Mr. Berwin interned for the Honorable Vincent P. Zurzolo (presently the Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California), as well as the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
