Mr. Coburn concentrates his practice in civil and commercial litigation, creditor's rights and collections, complex judgment enforcement, real property litigation and community associations. He also defends creditors and other businesses against claims by consumers. He has taught over 25 seminars on topics relating to collections and judgment enforcement, and also helps creditors learn to comply with debt collection laws.
Mr. Coburn is the author of the, 'Extraordinary Remedies' chapter in Creditors' and Debtors' Practice in Florida, 3d. Ed., a 2007 publication of The Florida Bar Continuing Legal Educations Publications. He authored the same chapter in the previous edition. For more than 20 years, he has been representing creditors in Florida courts. His clients have included banks and credit unions, automobile finance companies, advertising publishers, utilities, commercial suppliers, private clubs, hospitals, condominium and homeowner's associations, cooperatives, apartment complexes and a variety of other creditors.
