Mr. Shapiro concentrates his practice in commercial, municipal and general civil litigation. He also has experience in labor and employment, construction and land use law. During his law school career, Mr. Shapiro served as a certified intern in the Miami Beach City Attorney's office and as an intern in the guardian ad Litem program.
While in law school he was a member of the Inter-American Law Review and had an Article, 'Defamation, The Free Press and Latin America: A Roadmap for Emerging Democracies' published. He was elected in law school to Phi Delta Phi, the legal honor society.
