Mr. Segall concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, appellate and family law and is also skilled in administrative practice. He maintains a strong focus on contract, real estate and insurance litigation. He represents clients in matters involving complex commercial cases including real estate, banking, corporate matters, insurance and divorce. Among others, he has represented banks and other financial institutions, mortgage companies, insurance companies, HMOs, land sales corporations, real estate brokers, attorneys, accountants and individuals dealing with those entities. Mr. Segall is experienced in class actions, Federal multi-district litigation, banking, defamation, fraud, corporate and partnership disputes, construction, Uniform Commercial Code, ad valorem taxation, estate and probate litigation, promissory note, mortgage and other commercial litigation.

Before coming to Ruden McClosky, Mr. Segall was the financial managing partner of a 25-lawyer firm. He is knowledgeable in accounting and appraisal techniques. His training and background in business and financial matters enables him to render unique insight into the real and practical effects of any case.

Mr. Segall has been admitted pro hac vice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of California, the Eastern District of Louisiana and the District of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Segall is a veteran, having served in Vietnam. He is a past director of the South-Miami Kendall Board of Directors. He has been an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and is a hearing officer for the Miami-Dade County School Board.
