Mr. Parson focuses his practice in the areas of real estate acquisition, development and sale, commercial lending, troubled loan workouts, leasing and title insurance claims resolution. As a transactional attorney, Mr. Parson has represented national and local developers, national lending institutions, public and private entities and individuals in a full range of sophisticated matters involving regional shopping malls, office buildings, retail centers, large scale residential communities, environmentally contaminated real estate, multi-state real estate loans, asset based lending and loan syndications.
Through his knowledge of real estate and title insurance, Mr. Parson has been effective in resolving significant title claims on behalf of national title insurance underwriters and their insureds. During economic downturns, Mr. Parson has represented clients in high profile foreclosures and loan workouts.
An AV(R) rated attorney, Mr. Parson is currently the Administrative Partner for the Firm's West Palm Beach office and has previously served on the Firm's Management Committee. He was also recognized as one of "Florida's Legal Elite" in 2005 and 2006 by Florida Trend Magazine and among the "Top Lawyers in South Florida" in the 2006 through 2008 Annual Editions of South Florida Legal Guide.
While at the University of Miami, he served as an Article and Comments Editor and as the Business Editor of the University of Miami Law Review, 1980-1982. His scholastic honors include two American Jurisprudence Awards and membership in the Society of Wig and Robe, Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
