A member of the Firm's Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Nelles represents clients in all aspects of business and commercial litigation. His experience includes cases involving contracts, real estate, landlord/tenant, construction, health care, insurance, banking, and a full range of other business disputes. Mr. Nelles has represented large and small corporations in various industries, property owners, developers, banks and insurance companies.
Mr. Nelles is also a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group and has litigated numerous trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade secrets and patent disputes. His intellectual property practice also deals with disputes concerning license agreements, assignments and Internet and domain names. Mr. Nelles represents clients in state and federal courts as well as in inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in Washington, D.C. He is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Nelles is also an adjunct professor of Copyright and Trademark Law at Nova Southeastern University Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
